-
Sessions are one hour. Session will start right on time and will end on time. If you are dropping your child off please be on time picking them up due to lessons starting right after your child's lesson has ended.
- Can my child hang out after their lesson?
-
We ask that you are on time to pick up your child and we ask that they do not "hang around" after their lesson. Safety in our barn is the most important to us. At lesson times the barn becomes very full and that adds even more distractions. We know that children are so excited to be around the barn and we love them to be around as well. However, we ask this not be the time for that. If your child would like to come hang around the barn and learn more, we would love that. We have started to take a very limited number of kids at a time to come do these classes. These are for an hour and we charge $20.00 per hour to come learn barn behavior, tons of safety measures and all that goes into owning your own horse. During these times your child will have a blast but be learning super important information. If you would like to be on the list please contact our Barn Manager for more information.

- What do we do if the weather is bad?
-
We will always have lessons, even in the rain. If it is raining, muddy or anything that would prevent us from doing a mounted lesson, we will do an in barn unmounted lesson. These are just a valuable as mounted lessons. Your child will learn safety around horses, how to enter stalls, anatomy of the horse, and much more. Your child will always be learning here in our barn.
- Can we watch the lessons?
-
Yes, you are very welcome to watch your child in their lesson. We have bench seating available on the side of our arena. We ask that you not stand in the barn while your child is getting their horse ready. It causes barn conjestion and we actually find that your child listens better when their parents are not standing right there.
- Where do I park?
-
We ask that when you pull in you continue to the back of the barn where there is a gravel parking lot. Please park in this lot. You can drop your child off at the barn entrance on your way around if need be. We ask that you don't park in the drive way or in front of the barn. It can get very busy around here during lesson times.
- Are sibling aloud to come.
-
Yes! Of course. Siblings can come a watch. They can play outside. We just ask that they don't hang inside the barn or run in and out. Alot is happening in the barn and horses can also get startled. So, as they are welcomed, please be mindful of where they are. Thank you!
